Honestly? I wish CCP would stop nerfing ships. Only buff those that need buffing to balance out.
Two powergrid nerfs and now a high slot is gone? WTH????
I am now wearing a black armband in memory of a ship that was once the ship that the Dread Pirate Roberts would have sailed...

And i'm afraid not only you cry but also belong to 2nd group. I was hoping for more sever nerfs. But i guess thats better than nothing.
Lol.. if you think this is crying your pretty slow. No wonder you only have 51 likes to your name. What I say is a simple statement with some humor to it.. you must not be able to read very well. I am also suggesting to CCP not to nerf what is already good, but to buff the other ships instead to make for some epic battles. It is a legit suggestion.
If you are here on the boards to troll and torch people you might want to actually say something that is new with some actual thought behind it.... and grow up a little. I prefer mature or truly funny people to chat with.

Never nerfing anything but buffing everything else instead is not power creep thats power LEAP It is far far easier to drop the power of one overpowered ship/module than it is to buff the 5000+ other ships/modules think about it; if the new harbinger is OP after this patch (not saying it is just using it as an example) than you're suggesting they slightly buff every other ship in Eve in order to reduce the releative effectiveness of the harbinger? Thats not only ridiculous, but also would lead to several other balance problems for the game designers.
Nah, never heard of power creep. They already are buffing/nerfing a huge amount of ships anyway so i don't see your point being valid in stating that they would have to do that... because they already are. Balancing BC's is what I am talking about and what the Dev's are doing. I liked my idea of them not nerfing ships but buffing/balancing the lesser BC's.
So have you fit the harby yet to see how it would compare to a cane? I would be quite interested in that since I fly both ships.

It's still among one of the most powerful BCs, except now you have to fit it like other BCs.
You know, before the nerfs you could fit a Cane with 220s guns and 2x 1600mm plates, AND 3 Trimarks, you had to put 1 med neut on though and leave a high so.
Then they nerfed it so it was a decent boat, 220s 1x 1600mm plate, AND 3 trimarks, you could only have 1 small neut on though.
Now where you gotta fit it like a brutix you complain. The Harb was even worse, you had to have a cap booster on it, and it was almost impossible to fit with any T2s.
The Cane got a balance it's still in the game. You got access to all damage types + a insane falloff.
I'm sorry they made your "I Win at PVP" boat into a regular BC. It was waaaay OP and needed the nerfs it got.
Edit: i'm sorry i just had to point this out.
Blasters are locked to Kinetic/Thermal damage.
Lasers are locked to EM.
Projectiles got access to all damage types, which is why they do less Damage overall.
Oh my gosh yesss... the projectiles do have allll the damage. I actually really hate that. ... and yes I loved my win at pvp boat... and that is why my post was RIP hurricane... :)

And part of balancing was nerfing BC's so they are not replacing both battleships and cruisers at thier roles. If CCP would do what you are asking for ... they would butcher their own changes to cruisers. They would once again be left in hangars if BC's would receive buffs instead of nerfs. And would be that good ? I guess no. Atm you can finnaly use both cruisers and battlecruisers . And both are good and useful.
Varying opinions on this one of course. Quite a lot of good points made too, and I appreciate the time and effort some people made to really go into detail about the different BC's, unlike someone who got their panties in a twist and decided to flame and troll over a simple little post which was more of a humorous goodbye to my beloved cane as I knew it - with a "Princess Bride" reference. Funny how angry people can take such a simple thing and twist it into something it's not.
Too bad because you had some good points to make, but who wants to hear someone who has a good point when they surround it with arrogant trolling. If you want anyone to take you seriously in your posts you might want to drop the attitude and actually speak to them differently.
